The purposes for which the Corporation is formed are: (a) To promote professional education for nursing at the Columbia University School of Nursing and the professional practice of nursing by its graduates through support of nursing education, research, advocacy for practice, community service, and promotion of collegial and supportive relationships among the members of the Association. (b) Collaborate and/or coordinate with the School of Nursing in activities that promote communication, networking, research, education and practice. (c) Provide vehicles for advocacy, collegiality, community services, and liaison between alumni, and graduate and undergraduate students.
